Lil Boosie went on 60 Minutes with a story: he paid $600,000 to two political operatives; Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl, who told him they could get him a pardon from Trump.
No pardon ever came.
The White House says it never worked with either man and that involving them actively hurts a clemency case. Now Boosie’s suing to get his money back.
I’m breaking down why I think he should absolutely get that money back they clearly didn’t earn it, but also why “businessman” might not be the right description for someone whose team never bothered to check who they were handing $600K to. Plus, a Wire fan’s take on how this whole thing plays out like a real-life Clay Davis con.
