The Lindsay Clancy murder trial ended in a mistrial after one juror refused to vote not guilty by reason of insanity. First, three jurors went on NBC10 Boston and trashed him. Then NBC10’s investigators dug through his past: a 2021 domestic violence charge that was DISMISSED, a civil restraining order, even his unpaid rent. They didn’t print his name. They didn’t have to. A tiny X account matched the details to court records by the next morning, and his name and photo went everywhere. His lawyer now says he is at an undisclosed secure location.
And what does NBC10’s “courtroom insider” do? She posts a three-minute video about HER inbox. Not one word about the juror. Then she heads to X and dares people to “cite the exact words” where she named him. That’s not accountability. That’s damage control.
