Golf legend Tiger Woods has reached a plea deal in his Florida DUI case following a March rollover crash.
Woods pleaded no contest to reduced charges of reckless driving and refusing to submit to a lawful test. The original DUI charge was dropped as part of the agreement.
A judge suspended Woods’ driver’s license for five years and ordered him to pay approximately $1,500 in fines. He will avoid jail time under the plea agreement.
Woods initially pleaded not guilty after his arrest. Prosecutors said he admitted to his actions, while the judge warned that driving during the suspension could result in immediate jail time.
President Donald Trump also weighed in, saying he had previously urged Woods to have someone else drive him.
