Just read a post from a sista stating black people are done with Nicki Minaj, Snoop, Nelly and other artists that support Trump because of their support for Trump… nothing could be further from the truth. Woke is dead. Cancel culture is dead. The days of black people being forced to subscribe to Dem ideology/black group think are over. And they’re never coming back.
We are not a monolith. The Dem party doesn’t own us or our votes. We are free to vote for whomever we choose. Or not at all. Black celebs that exercise choice don’t have to worry about lack of support from the politically ignorant and least politically savvy among us, the support they gain from blacks that “get” politics is transactional and crossover support will more than make up for it.
