We spend so much time focusing on what everyone else is doing to the Black community, but what about what’s happening within our own communities? Young Black people are killing other young Black people, families are being destroyed, and lives are being thrown away through murder, retaliation, and decades-long prison sentences. At some point, accountability has to become part of the conversation. We cannot seriously talk about protecting Black lives while refusing to confront the violence taking Black lives every day. 🎙️
