Still on the Lou… watching it all go to shit. Progressives and Black Girl Magic has been disastrous for the region, worsening every issue the region is facing. Watching black power squandered and regression back to what we took to the streets to fight. And black leaders, orgs and actorvists being made the face of incompetence, corruption and grift… Everything I predicted since Ferguson when everybody else was declaring mission accomplished and trying to come up off the struggle.
St. Louis had an unique opportunity to get out from under it all with the “Fire Them All Act”, a bill which would have fired the mayor, Board of Aldermen and comptroller and vote in all new uncompromised leaders of their choice but scoffed at the idea because it was written by a Republican.
The problem in St. Louis is not Trump, MAGA or Republicans, it is the Democrat machine.
