#Update A category 3 tornado hit the city over a week ago and now city leaders and citizens are looking at the admin led by a man they called Hitler, a man former US Rep Cori Bush called White Supremacist In Chief… a man their party engaged in lawfare against with the very citizens now crying about help cheering it on. People that cheered when Biden ignored tragedies that East Palestine and North Carolina. People that cheered when the former mayor antagonized the opposition party. And now that tragedy has come to their front door they’re mad at Trump and Republicans giving them the same treatment Biden cave Trump supporters when tragedy struck them.
No, this is not right, nor was it when Biden did it yet Dem voters didn’t have an issue with it. If anything Trump is giving them a taste of what happens when you engage in/cheer tribalism instead of bipartisanship… it’s all good until your party loses power and gets voted out. But the anger is misplaced, the anger should be with the Biden admin, state and local Dem leaders that lied on and gaslit about Trump/MAGA and provoked this response.
St. Louis is learning the hard way. After a decade of corrupt, compromised and incompetent leadership that blamed all their issues on/vilified Republicans, only to learn they need the very people they talked shit about.
