Ben Passmore is the author of the newly published graphic novel: “Black Arms to Hold You Up: A History of Black Resistance,” published by Pantheon publishing. Ben Passmore is an award winning political cartoonist, including having contributed to Black Agenda Report. Black Arms to Hold You Up takes readers through more than a century of Black resistance against the state from Rober Charles shootout with the police in 1900 to the Black power movement of the 1960s and the George Floyd uprisings of 2020. Ben Passmore joins us from Philadelphia.
