By slashing the estate tax threshold from over $7 million to just $750,000 and hiking the rate to 50%, he is turning every modest family home into a government asset. In a city where the median home price is $800k, this isn’t a “wealth tax”—it’s a “Homeowner Shakedown.” Combined with federal taxes, families could face a 70% hit at the graveyard.
