The FBI and Secret Service met Thursday with the owner of a Wisconsin brewery and his lawyer in the wake of the owner’s controversial comments about the recent assassination attempt on President Donald Trump.
After gunfire erupted at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner Saturday night, the Minocqua Brewing Company — which is owned by Kirk Bangstad, who has long been an outspoken critic of Trump — posted on social media, saying, “Well, we almost got #freebeerday.”
