The track meet surveillance video from the day Karmelo Anthony killed Austin Metcalf has been released, and it matches the police report and the witness testimony word for word. There was no jumping. There was no mob. The Angryman has been telling you this from day one, and the footage just confirmed every bit of it. Watch what the video actually shows: Karmelo was sitting under a tent he had no business being under, he was asked to leave, and he got into a verbal argument with a couple of kids, both white and black. Some of the kids were not even paying attention, which is exactly how you know nobody was jumping anybody. Austin shoved him, and Karmelo immediately pulled a knife, stabbed him, and took off running. He was already gone before Austin tumbled down the bleachers. That is not self-defense. That is not a child fighting for his life. That is a regular altercation between two teenagers until one of them decided to use a blade. And here is what should scare you: the people still defending him are arguing that a shove justified a stabbing. That is the exact same logic racist white men used during Jim Crow, the exact same “I feared for my life” excuse police use when they gun down unarmed black men. The Angryman holds The Standard (the consistent application of accountability regardless of who is being judged), and The Standard does not bend because the killer shares your skin. To the black people who knew the truth and are finally calling this out, respect. To the ones still making excuses, you have lost the plot completely. Karmelo lied, the video proves it, and 35 years was mercy.
