Black People Are Dangerous Until They Have To Stand In Front Of A Judge

Black people are dangerous until they have to stand in front of a judge, and The Angryman lays out exactly how that switch gets flipped. This started on a panel where the conversation turned to the Carmelo Anthony case, and the same people insisting that black folks are not violent and just need everybody to keep their hands to themselves turned around and threatened The Angryman with violence on a live stream for disagreeing with them. That contradiction is the whole point. The Standard (the consistent application of accountability regardless of who is being judged) says you cannot brag about being the most dangerous person in the room all year and then become a helpless victim the second you are the one in trouble. The Angryman breaks down the victimhood switch: grown men with face tattoos and a whole history of menacing the community suddenly become a smiling high-school yearbook photo on a GoFundMe the moment they take a life and face a judge. He walks through how the Carmelo situation actually started, why taking a case to trial and losing usually means more time not less, and why defending a man after the evidence is in says more about you than it does about him. This is not anti-black, it is pro-accountability, and the people who got the maddest were the ones who could not beat the argument. The bigger pattern is one the audience recognizes from their own neighborhoods: a culture that performs toughness until consequences arrive, then demands sympathy it never extends to anybody else. The Angryman holds the same standard for everybody, which is exactly why it makes people so uncomfortable, because the truth does not have a victim exception. And if you have ever watched somebody flip from neighborhood menace to courtroom martyr the very moment the handcuffs came out, this is the breakdown that finally names that pattern out loud and refuses to pretend it is not happening.
