Al Sharpton is calling for another March on Washington on August 28, 2026, and I’ve got one question: after 63 years of marching, chanting, demanding, and begging the government for justice, what has this civil rights establishment actually produced for Black America?
They call it voting rights. I call it another episode of the same old victim narrative.
In this episode of The Vince Everett Ellison Show, I’m breaking down why Al Sharpton, the National Action Network, and the modern civil rights machine are not leading Black people toward freedom. They are leading them right back into dependency, grievance, and political control.
The same people who have told Black Americans for decades that they are powerless without government protection are now trying to gather everybody in Washington, D.C., to sell the same message again.
I don’t believe freedom comes from marching.
I don’t believe power comes from begging.
I don’t believe victory comes from being taught that you are a permanent victim.
Freedom is a choice. Slavery is a choice. And it’s time to stop letting political hustlers use Black pain as campaign fuel.
Watch the full episode, share it, and tell me what you think.
