It’s sad that a decade+ post Trayvon Martin and Mike Brown that the most a lotta y’all know to do in the face of injustice is be reactionary and not strategic. Protest? Yawn. That will last all of what? Been there, done that.
There hasn’t been a truely successful boycott since the Montgomery Bus Boycott and the reason that was successful is because it focused on one entity, the bus company and Black people were on code.
And boycott who? All Asians? The Chinese? Japanese? Vietnamese? Koreans? Who? Can y’all even tell the phucking difference?
There will be a lotta huffing and puffing but at the end of the day everything is made in China, sistas gonna buy weaves and get their nails done and brothas gonna buy the latest Js, sooooooo….
Why not boycott the prosecutor for purposely phucking up the case? Or Chow’s establishment and put it out of business?
The best boycott is building your own. Every other group knows this which is why you don’t see them boycotting, they keep their money in their communities.
We don’t. And nonna y’all reactionary negros support building because building takes time and mofos prefer stunting/instant gratification over sacrifice and putting in the time and resources.
What did we get for the NFL boycott? A Halftime show. And the NBA boycott lasted what, one day?
