The world changed Jan 20, 2025 and a lotta y’all don’t know how to process new facts/evidence, self corrected and/or pivot… And are still operating under the old rules of engagement when it’s a whole new world. Trump is the X Factor, the proverbial bull in the China shop, wrecking shop. Love or hate him that is what’s needed… and for 75+ years that hasn’t come from our side. We were conditioned to believe we could vote, beg or pray our way to “freedom”… and to call that fighting.
Look at the Civil Rights Era… and any ‘black leader’ of that era. Now look at Trump/MAGA. We have to go back decades to the Montgomery Bus Boycott for our last ‘win’. Riding in the front of the bus was “the win”. Eating at some racist, bigot’s lunch counter was “the win”. Not building. Not ownership. Not tangibles, but proximity to whiteness and white folks that hated us. Fast forward 75+ years and we’re still “fighting” to be liked. And losing our minds over not being liked, like for real, yo?
Contrast that with what we’ve seen from Trump MAGA… Building. Ownership. Winning And not giving af about being liked. They did everything Dem/the Left told us we couldn’t do without them.
And they’re winning.
