St. Louis mayor Tishaura Jones got beat by Cara Senser by a landslide… and just like that her defeat marks the end of the colossal fail of progressivism and ‘black girl magic’ era in the region.
And I get no pleasure in saying I called this the day they all held a press conference under the Arch… not only did I call this, I said they would be used by white liberals to diminish change the demographics of the city, diminish black voting power and to take back control.
And that is exactly what happened.
For my blackady, black, blacks… We went from having a black police chief, president of the Board of Aldermen, comptroller and mayor to a white police chief, white president of the BOA, comptroller and mayor… in a decade.
Oh and the city is no longer majority black.
Every black person that rose to prominence or got on as a result of Ferguson failed the Brown family, the region and the real black grassroots.
