☕ Morning fam, Woke up to the news of Jesse Jackson passing. And the three things that stands out at this moment to me are 1. Ralph Abernathy’s criticisms of Jesse Jackson after the assassination of MLK. 2. The fact that Donald Trump not only supported him throughout the years, but funded both his presidential campaigns. And 3. That he, as a reverend left this world without acknowledging either. Oh and 4. How not correcting the record will forever tarnish his legacy as a civil right’s leader and as a man of God.
